Central Asia has become one of the fastest-moving hiring regions we work in. Large energy, infrastructure and manufacturing projects across Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and their neighbours are drawing in experienced technical and HSE professionals, many of them from India and the wider region.
All open roles across the region
Where we hire
Uzbekistan
EPC and infrastructure projects in Tashkent and Karakalpakstan. Employer-sponsored permits, roughly 15–30 business days, with faster routes for high earners and IT Park companies.
Kazakhstan
Oil, gas, mining and infrastructure, largely on rotation in the west of the country. Permits run through an industry quota system and take one to two months.
Wider region and GCC
We also place candidates into the Gulf and neighbouring Central Asian markets. These roles are frequently filled from our CV database before they are advertised.
How hiring here actually works
Three things surprise most first-time applicants to the region.
The employer drives the permit, not you. Across Central Asia there is no meaningful route to arrive first and find work afterwards. The offer comes first, the employer sponsors the permit, and the visa follows. Anyone telling you otherwise is selling something.
Timelines are measured in months, not weeks. Between the permit, the visa and medical clearance, six to ten weeks from signed offer to mobilisation is normal. Plan your notice period around that.
Most roles are project-linked. Contracts are fixed-term, tied to a construction or commissioning phase, and often on rotation. That is not a red flag — it is simply how project hiring works — but read the demobilisation terms carefully.
Please note: immigration and labour rules change. Treat this page as orientation, not legal advice. Hirebee will confirm the current requirements for your specific role before you commit to anything.
