Our client is delivering a major EPC project in Uzbekistan. The Logistics Specialist will oversee and coordinate all logistics operations, covering material movement, customs clearance, bonded warehouse inspections and timely delivery of equipment to project sites.
Key responsibilities
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics for project materials, equipment and supplies
- Conduct route surveys of project site camp routes and update teams based on geographic assessments
- Prepare customs documentation and liaise with authorities to clear imported goods
- Inspect, verify and clear project materials held in bonded warehouses
- Coordinate freight forwarders and transport companies for safe, timely delivery
- Ensure adherence to local regulations, company policy and international trade standards
- Maintain shipment, inspection and clearance records, and provide regular MIS updates to the SCM team
- Complete local procurement of consumables, HSE items and miscellaneous construction items across civil, electrical and mechanical scopes
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field
- Minimum 5 years in logistics operations, preferably within EPC or large-scale industrial projects
- Strong understanding of customs regulations and bonded warehouse procedures
- Excellent communication and coordination with stakeholders and authorities
- Able to travel frequently to bonded warehouses and project sites
Languages
Proficiency in Uzbek, Russian and English.
